birdhouse making.

the reason for this experiment is to:
  • Find out how long it would take too make a simple birdhouse.
  • How many errors I would encounter.
  • How visually pleasing it would look.
To start the pieces were cut out this was the part which took the longest, an hour and a half to be exact, how ever this also included working out measurements and speaking with the technician, after speaking with the technician we decided on using 12mm mdf due to weight and geographic conditions.

Sides measuring 12mm in depth and 50mm height.

tooooooools: drill, 20mm tacks, hammer, wood glue, tape mesure?

The drill was set at 15mm so that the tacks still had 5mm to go into the mdf.

the holes were drilled so that the wood didnt split when the tacks were hammered in.

glued too add re-enforcement.

looking pretty perfect.
